2018 Eastern Ontario Shakedown

2018 – Eastern Ontario Shakedown May 10 – 13

Hi Airstream friends!

Time to think not of the snow or sand outside (depending on your current location) but to turn your thoughts ahead to Spring. We would like to remind you that the Eastern Ontario Shakedown will be held on Thursday May 10 through Sunday May 13, 2018 at our new location, the Richmond Fair Ground. This is the weekend before the Victoria Day long weekend but not the weekend before the Stayner Spring Rally (May 25 -28).

The format of our Shakedown has not changed, with our Thursday trip to the Glen Restaurant at 5:00 p.m. for early arrivals, Friday snack at 7:00 p.m.; Pot-Luck meal on Saturday at 5:00 p.m., and a Sunday breakfast, cooked and served by the hosts and volunteers at 8:30.  Everyone should bring their own plates, cutlery, cups, etc. to the snacks, Pot-Luck and Breakfast. The hall (Heated, Dry and Bug-Free as needed) will be available to us all weekend for Happy Hours, games, deep technical discussions and general merriment. The cost of this event will be the camping fee of $25 per night plus recovery of the hall rental and food expenses (estimated $37), all paid to the hosts at the event.
